For Woodland Management

We produce conservation management plans for all types of woodland. The plans provide a guide to the best practice management for the specific habitats within a woodland, but also, where appropriate, help develop sustainable use of the timber.

For most woodlands, the management planning process is funded by the Forestry Commission and depending on the size and complexity of the site can often be done free of charge. Most of the management operations we advise are also fundable and where this is the case, we will process the grant applications as part of our contract.

A sample woodland conservation plan can be seen here.

For Other Sites

Many sites we work with such as holiday cottage estates have a varied range of habitats where the owners are keen to maintain as much wildlife interest for their visitors as possible. With the decline of habitat quality in the wider landscape, the proper management of these smaller sites has become increasingly important to wildlife. We can produce management plans which cover this range as well as specific educational or niche interest requirements.
